How long will the session last?

The engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know one another. It also warms you both up to being in front of the camera before your wedding day. You can expect it to last one to two hours. Additionally, lighting is best during the last few hours of the day, so I try to schedule the session during this time period whenever possible.

What should we wear?

In general, you should select clothing for the engagement session that reflects your personal style. Accessories (jewelry, hats, watches, belts, etc…) can be a great way to express your style and make the photographs more interesting. You should also know that close-ups of the hands are always taken.

Where should we have it?

The engagement locations in Southern California are absolutely endless. Great photographs can be taken anywhere. Below we have our top locations to shoot engagement sessions.
